Vacancy Short Description : To support theFDC@OpenAcademy manager with the coordination and management of theFDC@OpenAcademy football facility and the delivery of the site operational plan.

 

Qualifications Required : Minimum of one year FE experience
GSCE Grade C/4 or above in English & Mathematics
Vacancy Full Description : Support the Development Officer with coordinating the usage of the facility
Act as an evening and weekend coordinator at theFDC@OpenAcademy, managing all booking taking place at the facility during that time
Administer the County 5IVES programme at theFDC@OpenAcademy
Coordinate the delivery of Norfolk County FA Football Development initiatives taking place at theFDC@OpenAcademy
Assist the Football Development Team based at County HQ with the delivery of key strategic priorities from the National Game Strategy
Manage the stock, cashing & general maintenance of the three vending machines
Ensuring the aesthetics of the site are maintained, duties to include emptying the pitch side bins and daily litter picks

Future Prospects : Further employment with the Norfolk County Football Association continuing to develop and improve football at a grass roots level throughout the county.
Training to be Provided : Qualification: Apprenticeship in Sports Development

College Attendance: No regular attendance
Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may be the occasional need to attend either the Otley or Easton campus for short training courses and tests.
Other Information : The successful applicant will be required to have access to transport for shift pattern reasons

Pay Rates: The current NMW rate for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour with effect from 1st April 2018. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training. Apprentices need to be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week in the industry with a contract of employment
