Qualifications Required : Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A-E or 9- 2. Evidence of qualifications will be required.
Vacancy Full Description : Stow Hall Gardens are an important part of the Stow Estate which encompasses farming, woodland, conservation & Church Farm rare breeds centre. Machinery is an important part of maintaining a garden, the applicant will be trained in the use of ride-on mowers, small tractors & trailers & strimmers etc.

All aspects of gardening to include propagation, planting, pruning, mowing, weeding etc.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 39 hours per week - to be arranged
Salary : £144.30 Per Week

Personal Qualities : A good attitude to learining. Be polite and presentable at all times.
Skills Required : The ability to learn and follow direction. Must be physically fit.

Training to be Provided : Qualification: Level 2 Intermediate Horticultural apprenticeship
College Attendance: To Be advised
Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may be the occasional need to attend either the Otley or Easton campus for short training courses and tests.
Other Information : You must have your own transport or be able to travel to work each day. There is a very limited bus service and the train station in 2 miles away.
