Vacancy Full Description : This role is additional to the current positions at Agrifac UK, and has been devised to nurture and develop the successful candidate within the high end technology area of agricultural machinery. Successful completion will lead to a fulltime field based agricultural engineering position working within a highly motivated and dynamic product support team.
Duties will include:
•Diagnosis and repairing of machinery

Working Week : 39 Hour 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm Friday
Salary : £136.50 Per Week

Personal Qualities : Ability to work within a team, and eagerness to learn within a fast moving engineering industry.
Skills Required : Basic mechanical engineering and electric/electronic appreciation with a methodical and analytical approach to problem solving
Future Prospects : A successful candidate upon completion of training will have the opportunity to become a field based Agricultural Engineer, dedicated to supporting machinery within the Agrifac UK equipment portfolio.
Training to be Provided : Qualification: Land-based Engineering Level 2
College: Block weeks to Easton Campus (12 weeks spread out over the 2 years)
Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may be the occasional need to attend either the Otley or Easton campus for short training courses and tests.
Other Information : Pay Rates: From The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
Working Week: 39 Hour Basic Working Week
8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday
8.00am – 4.00pm Friday
Basic Weekly wage of £136.50 + OTE
