Applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A-C or 9- 4. Apprentices need to be employed for minimum of 30 hours a week in the industry with a contract of employment.

Vacancy Full Description : • Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the office including the provision of secretarial and clerical support
• Offer general assistance to the administration team and project a positive and friendly image to clients, either in person or via the telephone
• Facilitate effective communication between clients and the appropriate departments within the company
• Providing clerical assistance including typing letters, filing, photocopying and scanning.
• You will be using the Microsoft office suite of programmes especially Word and Excel aswell as our Removals & Storage software.
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm, 30 hrs p.w.
Salary : £150.00 Per Week

Personal Qualities : Alongside customer service, communication skills are key, we need to make sure our clients understand our service every step of the way and that they feel confident in their choice of removal services. Applicant will need to understand discrection and maintain a professional attitude at all times to all clients, we are often dealing with emotional, stressful and confidential situations. Our clients choose us because of the bubbly, friendly and kind response they get when they call the office.
Skills Required : Customer service is key to all we do, moving home is one of the most stressful times in your life, we have to be first class in looking after our clients. Therefore you should have a good understanding of the importance of customer service.
Future Prospects : For the right candidate who proves to be hard working, with a willingness to learn the long term prospects are excellent.
Training to be Provided : Qualification: Business Administration L2
College Attendance: There is no regular college attendance required as the qualification is delivered almost entirely in the workplace.
Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may be the occasional need to attend either the Otley or Easton campus for short training courses and tests.
Other Information : Pay Rates: The current NMW rate for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour with effect from 1st April 2017. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training. Working Week: Monday to Friday, 10am- 4pm. 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.
