Qualifications Required : Minimum of 3 x GCSE’s at Grade C or above, including Maths and English, (or equivalent).
Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Apprentices need to be employed for minimum of 30 hours a week in the industry with a contract of employment.
Proof of qualifications will be required before you can be accepted onto the apprenticeship.

Duties will include:-
Creating a warm and welcoming environment by providing exceptional customer service to all visitors.
Answering the switchboard, greeting and directing visitors, giving information and offering refreshments.
Taking deliveries and signing for them and then notify the person that their delivery has been received.
Dealing with customer enquiries, taking reservations/booking details and entering this data onto an in-house computer booking system as well as using the company computer system to look ahead at group arrivals for the following week(s) and checking all information is updated and completed.
Organisation of files and databases and production of Word & Excel documents.
Assisting with maintaining stocks and supplies and using resources effectively, efficiently and economically.
Keeping the office and reception areas clean and well organised at all times.
Undertaking any other duties that may be assigned from time to time and be amenable to undertake overtime and weekend work when required.

Working Week : 37.5hrs p.w. 5 days
Salary : £150.00 Per Week

Personal Qualities : We are looking for candidates that are motivated, outgoing, enthusiastic, and reliable and have an interest in working with and supporting children.
Skills Required : The successful candidate will possess a confident outgoing personality, with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will have achieved grade C or above in English and Maths. You will be well presented, be organized and determined to succeed. You should have the ability to pay attention to detail.

Training to be Provided : Qualification: Level 2 Business Administration
College Attendance: There is no regular college attendance required as the qualification is delivered almost entirely in the workplace.
Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition, the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may be the occasional need to attend either the Otley or Easton campus for short training courses and tests.
Other Information : Pay Rates: From 1st April 2017 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
The employer is offering £4 per hour
Working Week: 37.5 hour working week over 5 days Working hours rotated weekly 8.30-4.30pm/9.00-5.00pm
Lunch breaks ½ hour paid & ½ unpaid
