Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Apprentices need to be employed for minimum of 30 hours a week in the industry with a contract of employment.
Proof of qualifications will be required before you can be accepted onto the apprenticeship.
Vacancy Full Description : Your duties will include but not be limited to:
• mail handling,
• diary management,
• making/receiving telephone calls,
• talking to customers,
• administration support for colleagues.
• handling customer insurance claims,
• you will be inputting data onto bespoke software systems
Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, 35 hrs p.w.
Salary : £192.50 Per Week

Personal Qualities : Good communication skills, good customer service skills, presentable appearance. Although not essential, as full training will be provided, some knowledge of rural and agricultural matters would be beneficial.
Skills Required : Good Communication Skills, Customer Service Skills, some ICT skills would be desirable.

The company will invest considerable time and expense providing relevant qualifications outside of the apprenticeship program that will enhance both the abilities of the successful candidate benefiting both the business and the apprentice.
Training to be Provided : Qualification: Level 2 Business Administration
College Attendance: There is no regular college attendance required as the qualification is delivered almost entirely in the workplace.
Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may be the occasional need to attend either the Otley or Easton campus for short training courses and tests.
Other Information : Pay Rates: The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
The employer is offering £5.50 per hour/£192.50 per week.
Working Week: 35 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 9.00am -5.00pm
